Procrastination, ahoy!

Alright, I've done the research for that stupid fucking essay for History. I talked to my parents about their influences and shit (it was surprisingly interesting and informative), and now all I have to do is procrastinate and not start the essay till like, 12. Woo!

Incidentally, I also have Geometry homework, for which I forgot to write down the assignment. I had planned on simply guessing (I remember a little of it) and doing what I forgot before class tomorrow, but if someone could tell me what it was, I would be most grateful. EDIT: Nevermind on the giving the assignment to me, I got it from Zeng.

So, we went to the lake this weekend, joined by the McKibbens and our neighbor Katie Rowland, along with her dad and her friends Rachel Lockhart (Lauren's older sister), Kimberly Phares (spelling fixed), and another friend whose last name escapes me but whose first name I believe was Betsy. Anyhoo, a fun time was had by all.

Discussion of the lake brings me to the big news of the weekend: Kendal got a speeding ticket! She and Sarah left Saturday afternoon to go to a party, and during their return Sunday morning, she got pulled over for doing over 80 in a 55 zone. Upon arriving and informing the parents of this event, she was informed that they had just been discussing what good drivers Kendal and Sarah are. She now insists that this incident is the result of bad karma caused by the parents. High insurance rates, here we come!

In other news, September 19 is International Talk Like A Pirate Day. Two words: Awesomest. Holiday. Ever.

Also, THIRTEENDAYSTILLIMFIFTEENOMG. Yay.

And speaking of crazy cousins. Did you know that we have a cousin in tuscaloosa who's a millionaire-lesbian-contractor with 2 children by in vitro? Cool, huh?

I think procrastination runs in the family, by the way. Or maybe it's just coincidence.
